          Khajrana Ganesh temple at Indore is a very old an famous temple. You can say khajrana is another name of Ganesh temple. It is in the city and near about 4 km from Palasia Chouraha, the famous city in Indore As you know Indore which is a business city of M.P. If you come by road Khajrana square at ring road is a turning point toward Ganesh temple.

           Indore is well connected by rail as well as by air.

           Khajrana temple is very old. It was built in 1735 by queen Ahilya Bai Holker belongs to the Holkar dynasty. The idol was found in a well. It was taken out and established in the temple. It is said that the idol was kept in well due to fear of Aurangzeb who destroyed the temples and idols in many parts of India. The eye of the idol is made of diamond. The gate, Grabhgriha, and roof are made of silver.

         It will be better called it temple complex instead of a temple. All other Hindu God and goddess small temple are there on the campus. In front of the temple, there is a beautiful garden. All the shops arranged in a systematic manner in front of the temple. You can purchase all Puja items and laddoo, which is favorite of Lord Ganesh.

         Wednesday is the day of Lord Ganesh. so many people come here on Wednesday and Sunday. You will see a long queue, but don't afraid, well manage a system of darshan you will find here and anyone gets darshan hardly half an hour. Ample parking space available.

       Despite the crowd's very mesmerizing atmosphere in the whole temple complex. A calm quite spiritual and positive energy/waves everywhere. Listening to continuous chanting of Ganesh Atharvshish ringing bells and chirping birds is amazing.

       All the devotees believed that if one makes a wish before Lord Ganesh than it must be fulfilled. They attend the temple continues five Wednesday. Your visit to Indore is incomplete if you miss khajarana Ganesh.
